Last March, I designed the florals for an outdoor styled shoot that was part of a photography workshop called Ignite. The photography workshop was held on a large farm in the Poconos - definitely no shortage of beautiful old barns on the property - and each one was yellow! But March's weather can be unpredictable, and oh, boy was it ever. Wouldn't you know, it snowed all day long! So in boots, a hat, gloves, snow pants and a ski jacket I worked to design the floral installation and tablescape in 8 inches of snow. The snow falling added a magical element to the shoot - it was truly beautiful. The bride and groom models who were real couples and all recently wed, were troopers for braving the cold. The passion between each couple was evident - and probably kept them warm! - as you will see in the photos taken by Mekina Saylor and Lisa Hibbert.
