Oh, May, how I love you. The air is warming, the sun is shining, and nature is brightly green. May is a month of hope and continued renewal, and the month Vivian and Trevor chose to celebrate their love story with family and close friends.
Vivian and Trevor chose to marry at Bello Giorno Estate in Belvidere, an Italian villa-inspired venue on the Pequest River in Belvidere, New Jersey. How fitting that Belvidere translates to 'beautiful to see" in Italian - because that's exactly how I would describe Vivian and Trevor's wedding.
Vivian wanted a statement bouquet - something lush, romantic, textured - that captured the essence of Spring. Giddy I was, thinking about the spring flowers in my garden and how perfect they would be in Vivian's romantic bouquet - and how perfectly they would complement her blush tulle gown. And Trevor's white tux jacket? On point! Together, as a couple, they were stunning!
Vivian's bouquet is one of my favorites to date and contained cafe latte roses, gardenia peonies, burgundy ranunculus, chocolate laceflower, spirea, orchids, fritillaria, and tulips, dogwood, and hellebore from my garden. A romantic, poetic textured bouquet tied with pure silk ribbons from Illume Silk.
The reception centerpieces consisted of small bottles that Vivian had been collecting for some time. These bottles, containing delicate stems of flowers, were placed upon log slices that Trevor cut and sanded himself.
These photos are intimate and romantic and capture their love story perfectly. Best wishes to you, Vivian and Trevor. It is truly an honor to have been a part of your magical day.
